Christmas!!! This POP! was a gift from my little brother who bought it -at a Hot Topic shop in the USA- while assisting to one of his very nerdy conferences in California. This figure is just amazing. Based on the Batman from Gotham by Gaslight (1989) is a reference to the Victorian era.
The Gotham by Gaslight Design:
I keep repeating myself, but the amount of detail is incredible. The only element I don't remember from the comics are the goggles, but I found some designs on the internet with and without them, nice addition anyway.
The sculpt of this mask has very long ears just like in the comic, you can also see the stitches on the mask, as well as other lines. The metallic silver painting on the goggles and the glossy belt contrast beautifully with the more matte mask.
The sculpt also stays faithful to other details like the utility belt, the pockets, the knives attached to it, the shirt with its buttons on the sides and the belt buckles on the boots; they also kept the design of the Bat logo.
An extra detail that makes this figure stand out is the folded piece that goes around the shoulders and over the cape, essential to the Victorian look.
Nightmare Batman is apparently inspired by the Steampunk Batman, let's compare both POP!s then:
