The Batman Shelf

The same day I got my DC Nano Metalfigs: DC1 BvS Batman I also got this one as well... and a Harley Quinn for my daughter's collection!!!

This time is the Desert Batman, also known as 'nightmare' Batman, a very attractive small figure. The sculpt has enough detail for its scale, the metallic paint looks OK as well, but not sure if this was the best fit for this particular figure which suit is supposed to look worn-out and dusty. I think besides that it still stands on the good side of figures and therefore I'm very happy to have gotten it.

I like the pose, is easy to read, a cautious and aware Batman, ready for what can come. I still have a small issue with the base sharing the colour of the coat, but for the price and the scale, they have to keep costs to a minimum.

When I saw the figure from behind one thing became even more evident, the coat open is really long and that may contribute to that feeling of 'wait for a second, something here is a bit off', so I was surprised, after I checked images from the movie and other toys, that the open is really that long, but because of the size of this figure, it is missing the 2 buttons at the start of the cut. 

What else would I like to change with this small sculpture? Well, definitely I would add more detail to the gun. I understand they try to keep it simple, but if they could enlarge the colour palette for this figures it will push them to next level.
